PTFE O Rings
O-rings are one of the most common sealing solutions. Teflon PTFE o-rings are known for high heat resistance, high resistance to chemical agents and solvents, anti-adhesiveness, dielectric properties, low friction coefficient, and non-toxicity.
PTFE offers many distinct advantages over elastomers. These advantages include corrosion resistance, massive temperature range capabilities, excellent electrical properties and an almost unlimited shelf life.
The PTFE O-Rings are widely used in applications which require a chemically resistant and non-compressible material. PTFE is a plastic that offers high chemical resistance, low and high temperature capability, resistance to weathering, low friction, electrical and thermal insulation, and "slipperiness".
The PTFE O-rings or Teflon O-rings have excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties and a low coefficient of friction.
